About Pasig City
Pasig City is known as the second most important and largest business district in Metro Manila next to Makati City. The biggest corporations in the country are situated in Pasig City such as Meralco, San Miguel Corporation, Jollibee Foods Corporation and the list goes on. It is also known as the “green city” for its environmental friendly capabilities led by its government.
History of Pasig City
Pasig City has existed ever since 1572 making it the oldest town in the Philippines. It was built by the religious priests and brothers called the Augustinians. Years later, around 1900’s Pasig City was transformed into an urbanized city by the Senate and ever since continued to be a progressive urban city.
